Sodium bicarbonate (baking soda)

Sodium bicarbonate - baking soda - is the active ingredient of baking powder.

To use as:

  • ideal rising agent for biscuits and cakes. It makes the dough light.
  • as bicarbonate of soda: for internal cleansing. Works as an antacid and for gastrointestinal problems.
  • as a bicarbonate of soda in the kitchen - to quickly and effectively clean the refrigerator, coffee maker, oven, etc.
  • as a cleaning agent for in and around the house.
  • as a cleaning agent: ideal for cleaning sinks, showers and toilets.
  • for tooth-brushing: refreshes the mouth and makes teeth whiter
  • relieves the pain of ulcers and itching of insect bites
  • as bath salts
  • cut flowers stay fresh longer after adding a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda

Caution: adding to an acidic product leads to gas formation, causes effervescence. Do not exceed the stated dose.

Instructions for use:

  • for internal cleansing: add 2 teaspoons to 1 glass of water once a day
  • as a raising agent: according to the recipe
  • as bath salts: about 100 gr in a warm bath
